Beaucoup Bakery opened its doors in Winter 2012, offering French-inspired pastries and childhood favourites.

We believe it’s important to leave the world a happier place, even if it’s through something as simple as a cookie. It is our priority to put care and pride into everything we do, from the ingredients we choose and the little details that go into our baking, through to the way we treat our valued customers and friends.

Beaucoup’s owner and baker, Jackie Kai Ellis, has loved baking since she was a little girl. After running her own design firm for several years, she closed up her company and set off for Paris to study pastry-making. Upon returning, the concept for Beaucoup Bakery emerged, the result of being equally passionate about the fine pastries of France and the comforting creations of childhood memories.

“There’s nothing like a perfect slice of apple pie but tarte tatin is also heavenly,” says Jackie. “In my mind, neither one is better than the other. At Beaucoup Bakery, we want to share amazing food, prepared with passion. The biggest compliment we can receive is seeing someone’s eyes roll back and to hear them say that it’s the best thing they’ve ever tasted! We strive to make people love food as much as we do!”.
